Europe Peace Foundation has released a press regarding the meeting convened on February 16, 2025 to assess the progress of the peace process in Tigray.
The Europe Peace Foundation has applauded the joint efforts by the negotiating parties and expressed hope that sustained commitments to the agreement’s principles by both parties will lead to lasting peace in Tigray and beyond.
The press release urges the African Union’s High-Level Panel, Joint Committee, and the Monitoring, Verification, and Compliance Mechanisms, along with all relevant stakeholders, to continue upholding and implementing the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (CoHA) principles to ensure lasting peace and stability in Ethiopia.
The Europe Peace Foundation calls on all parties involved in Ethiopia’s conflicts to reject violence in all forms and work towards resolving all conflicts to achieve peace globally.
