Czech Republic Ambassador to Ethiopia Miroslav Kosak says he will meet Tigrai IRA deputy and Chief Cabinet Secretariat of Peace & Security Gen. Tadesse Werede this afternoon.
The Ambassador arrived in Mekelle on Monday along with Katerina Manova, Development diplomat, to review areas of support in Tigrai.
Miroslav Kosak and Katerine visited agricultural site in Tsirae Wonberta district, Eastern Tigrai, where they appreciate efforts by local farmers and promised to look for possible agricultural project near the area.
On Tuesday, they had visited Samre, in Southeastern zone of Tigrai, a district recently headlined for the death of its 25 citizens from hunger following suspension of aid.
According to Katerina, their visit to Samre aims at assessing the progress of two Water Emergency Projects sponsored by the Czech government.
As to his official schedule, Ambassador Miroslav Kosak is expected to leave to Addis Abeba on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
