Getachew Reda, President of the IRA in #Tigrai, and his Cabinet members briefed a delegation team led by Scott Hocklander, USAID Mission Director in Ethiopia, about the main problems that are worsening the humanitarian disaster in Tigrai.
The president highlighted the presence of Eritrean and Amhara forces in the territory of Tigrai, the suspension of humanitarian aid delivery and failure towards the full implementation of the Pretoria agreement as the major causes for the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Tigrai.
Though the president explained his high regard for the monitoring tools employed by the humanitarian organizations, he made sure that his government is also willing to commit for cooperation with humanitarian organizations in the process of delivering humanitarian aid to the ones in need.
