#Tigrayan Athlete Goytotom Gebreslassie scoops silver in women’s Marathon at Budapest World Athletics championship despite her recent loss of her youngest brother and her brother-in-law.
Goytotom won women marathon in Oregon World Athletics Champs in July of last year during her birthplace was under communication black out following the total siege and blockade imposed on Tigrai.

Goytotom managed to win silver despite her recent learning of the death of her youngest brother Henok Gebreslassie and her brother-in-law, who fought in the ranks of Tigrian forces during the war against Tigrai.
