In a Facebook post today, the President of Tigrai Debretsion Gebremichael called today’s airstrike in kindergarten in Mekelle ‘extension of the genocidal project’. The President said the attack will only accelerate the demise of the Abiy Ahmed’s regime. “Enemies started this extensive attack on Tigrians in the assumption that the people of Tigrai cannot defend themselves after siege-starving them for more than a year now”, the President added.
The President also said that the Ethiopian government had conducted an airstrike on Thursday in Mekoni, Southern Tigrai.
