A delegation team led by the Minister of the Ministry of Labour &Skill Muferyat Kamil landed in Mekelle this morning. The team from the ministry is visiting factories and other private and public enterprises in Quiha and Ayder Sub cities in Mekelle that were damaged and looted during the war.
The owners of the damaged factories told the visitors that they are enduring difficult living conditions due to the damage they faced during the active fight.
Minister Muferyat Kamil stated the ministry is looking for ways to recover the damage and heal the workers psychologically. She also noted that efforts are being made to bring those who remained jobless back to work.
According to the Minister, a team has been established to assess the amount of damage for a comprehensive understanding.
