Ethiopian and Eritrean Forces Launched Joint Campaign Against Tigrai

Mekelle. Sep. 1 (Tigrai Television) – Tigrai Military Command said Ethiopian and Eritrean Forces have launched a joint campaign.

In a statement earlier today, Tigrai Military Command said Ethiopian and Eritrean Forces have launched a joint campaign towards Adiabo, Northwestern Tigrai, in four directions this morning at 04:30 a.m.

The statement also said Ethiopian Army along with Amhara Special Forces and Amhara Militia has continued its offensive from Sekota in the direction of Aberegele.

The Military Command stated that Ethiopian Airlines has stopped all kinds of services to support the ‘full-scale war’. “It conducted six flights on August 30; 6 flights on August 31 and 25 flights are scheduled for today September 1 to transport personnel, weapons and munitions”, the statement read.

Commander in Chief for Tigrai Defense Forces, Gen. Tadesse Werede on Wednesday said Ethiopian Forces conducted artillery shelling in Adiabo and other areas in Northwestern Tigrai.
