Heavy rain hits IDPs’ Camp in Abi-Adi, Central #Tigrai

CEO of Emahoy Tsega Charity Organization in Abi-Adi IDPs’ Camp Haile Tsegay, on a phone call with Tigrai television, stated that the heavy rain that fall on Monday took away food stuffs such as rice, macaroni and salt meant for the IDPs that cost more than five hundred thousand birrs.The rain ruins baking materials in the IDPs camp that shelters over 7000 Children.Haile added the food supplies spoiled and taken by the flood were prepared for breakfast, leaving more than 7000 children empty-bellied.The CEO says the endeavor being taken now would bring temporary relief but not lasting solutions.

‘’We gave another food kinds for more than seven thousand children who were expecting the usual breakfast early in the morning.

But none of the Mothers got any‘’ he said.The CEO pleaded aid agencies for a swift response so that the IDPs can survive hunger for the time being.Emahoy Tsega Charity Organization was found after the war on Tigray broke out and is now serving more than seven thousand children and many others who are displaced from different parts of the region fleeing atrocities by #Eritrean forces and allies.
