#Tigray Orthodox Tewahdo Church the See of Selam Kesate Birhan denounced Ethiopia’s synod statement on Wednesday condemning the See, the senior archbishops as well as the newly ordained episcopates.
In presser earlier today, the See said Ethiopia Orthodox Tewahdo Church, which has financially & morally supported a war, lacks moral and legal baisis to condemn the Tigrai Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
The See also stated that it is independent structure with no links to the Ethiopian Synod. The archbishops also noted that they will continue to ordain new episcopates when it is necessary.
