Mekelle, Jun 22 (Tigrai Television)- 22 IDPs died in Abiy Adi IDP as hunger hits an IDP camp following suspension of aid.
According to Head of Social Affairs Office for the district of Abyi Adi, Mahder Haileslassie the death toll has shown significant increase after May of this year as major food assistance provider announced they have stopped delivering aid.
The IDPs say despite their continued call for the resumption of aid including the rally on May 23, they have not gotten any solution while death from hunger and lack of medicine intensifies.
The IDPs, displaced from Western Tigrai, now plea on the international aid providers to resume aid and save the lives of the IDPs.
