June 20,2023 Mekelle (Tigrai Television)- Tigrai University Scholars and Professionals Association says Amhara forces are causing massive displacement, torture, killing, disappearance of Tigrians, destruction and confiscation of public and private properties as part of their plan to cleanse Tigrians from Western Tigrai.
Recalling Federal government’s denouncement of the recent report by HRW as a “testimony “, TUSA states that the Ethiopian Government has not only failed to live up to the terms of the CoHA particularly the withdrawal of the Non-ENDF (Amhara and Eritrean) forces, but also cooperated with the forces while they commit all kinds of atrocities against Tigrians.
In a letter written to the #AUHighLevelPanel,#UN officeoftheSecrataryGeneral and the #USStatedepartment #TUSA calls for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Non-ENDF forces, for the new wave of displacement of Tigrians from Western and Southern Tigrai to be halted, safe repatriation of refugees and return of IDPs to their home.
